WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of friends who decided to stop talking about world poverty and do something about it. We share a sense of global responsibility and firmly believe that, together, we can make a big difference towards breaking the poverty cycle.
We teamed up with another group of like-minded people 'PovertyAid4Cambodia’ (PA4C) and we raise funds that go directly to where they’re needed most – we’ve cut out the middle-man. A big bonus for us is that we all enjoy each other’s company and we have a whole lot of fun.
We visit Cambodia regularly, at our own personal expense, to check on the progress of our many projects. We’re not the sort of charity that hands out money and hopes for the best. Money soon runs out and the cycle continues - the problem isn't solved.
Our goal is to teach desperately poor people survival skills- and it's working. We encourage those whose lives are touched by poverty to actively participate in our programs. We focus on educating and training people to produce their own food, water and basic shelter and, in so doing, they win back their dignity that is so often destroyed by a sense of hopelessness. Can you imagine not even believing that you and your family deserve these basic necessities? We help put hope back in their lives.
We’ve been working together for five years now and we’re starting to see a huge improvement in the quality of life for so many desperate Cambodians, especially children.
We are realistic. We know that we can't change the world overnight and that Cambodia is just a small corner of the earth, but it’s a start and we've proven to ourselves that we can do it.
WHY DO WE DO IT?
Because we can – and we should!
Everyone has a right to food, water, shelter and a life without fear of starving to death. Poverty in third-world countries is so widespread that we can understand how some people in more affluent societies would see our cause as hopeless and never-ending. But in just five years, we’ve proven that, little by little, the poverty cycle can be broken.

Money isn’t the only way you can help. We have plenty of supporters who donate their time and skills. The important thing is that we all do something, no matter how small we think our contribution is. Many hands make light work and great friendships have been forged within our group since we came together. We are continually amazed by the kindness and generosity of complete strangers.
